A Bad Date List is a grassroots, often localized warning system created and maintained by sex workers. Unlike a general Blacklist which might simply include a Time Waster or a No Show, a Bad Date List specifically circulates urgent warnings about a Client who has been violent, abusive, committed theft, or refused to adhere to Safe Sex Practices. It is a critical Harm Reduction tool.
