In the context of the adult industry, an Abolitionist is an individual or organization that believes all forms of Sex Work are inherently violent and exploitative, arguing that true Consent cannot be purchased. Abolitionists (who frequently overlap with the SWERF ideology) actively oppose Decriminalization and campaign to eradicate the industry entirely, usually by lobbying for the Nordic Model or conflating all consensual sex work with Human Trafficking.
